David Thornburg is an associate attorney at Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP.

Mr. Thornburg brings over 15 years of experience in criminal law to Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP.

Prior to joining Massillamany Jeter & Carson LLP, Mr. Thornburg spent his career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Hancock County. He began there as a legal intern prior to and was then hired as a full-time deputy. Mr. Thornburg gained a vast amount of experience in all aspects of criminal law, his extensive background in handling felony and misdemeanor matters is an asset to all clients.

Education History

In 1999, Mr. Thornburg graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University. In 2004, he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with his Juris Doctorate degree.

Admissions

Mr. Thornburg is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, as well as the Southern and Northern District Courts of Indiana. He is also a member of the Hancock County Bar Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, and serves on the Hancock County Community Corrections Advisory Board.

Mr. Thornburg resides in Fortville, Indiana with his wife and son. In his spare time, he can be found at the ice rink or baseball field with his wife watching their son’s travel hockey and travel baseball teams.
